The second phase of the 140th session of the China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair, opened on Friday in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, focusing on quality home living products.
The massive exhibition features zones for household items, gifts and decorations, and building materials and furniture, according to the event's organizers. The fair aims to create an efficient global platform for the procurement of home living products.

More than 1,000 Chinese companies are participating, displaying 2.38 million home living items. New and green products and products with independent intellectual property rights account for 24.2 percent, 26.9 percent, and 25 percent of the wares, respectively.
