Shahanaj A. Ranu expects better Bangladesh-Yunnan ties

Shahanaj A. Ranu, the Bangladeshi Consul General in Kunming, said she looks forward to taking the cooperation between between Bangladesh and Yunnan province to a higher level in the coming years. The Bangladeshi diplomat said this during a National Day reception held by Yunnan Provincial Government for the coming 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. She added that Yunnan is the Chinese province closest to Bangladesh.
