Sushant Singh, Consulting Editor at The Caravan in New Delhi and Lecturer at Yale University’s South Asia Studies Council, said that for major powers to coexist harmoniously, it ultimately depends on bilateral efforts and on genuine, long-term exchanges between ordinary people.
Sushant said this during an exclusive interview with Mekong News Network reporters, and the interview focused on China-India cooperation under the BRICS framework.
Sushant added the Himalayas formed a formidable barrier between the two countries, while stereotypes separated the hearts and minds. BRICS and SCO summits are merely platforms for initiating dialogues.
