A Chinese national was rescued from the No. 4 headrace tunnel of the flood-affected Upper Trishuli-1 hydropower project on September 5 local time. The rescued Chinese Lu Haitao was later transferred to the Maithili Army Camp in the Trishuli area of Nuwakot District. The rescue took place on the 11th day after the flooding.
