Masood Khalid: China's peaceful rise is already established fact

“China's peaceful rise is already established, and whether it is recognized or not, it’s a fact,” said Masood Khalid, former Pakistani Ambassador to China.

Khalid said this during the 2026 Global Mayors Dialogue·Xishuangbanna event, which was be held in south Yunnan’s Xishuangbanna Dai autonomous prefecture from July 14 to 16.

He also spoke on the community with a shared future for mankind, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and the in-depth cooperation in agriculture.
