Teguh Santosa, President of the Indonesian Cyber Media Association, said in an interview with a Mekong News Network reporter that all of us can access technology in the age of artificial intelligence (AI), but not all can use it well.
Teguh said this at the South and Southeast Asian Media Network Annual Meeting 2026 that took place in central Yunnan’s Kunming city on July 14, right before the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance in Shanghai.
He called for not only strengthening the competence of media professionals but also promoting media education across society, helping the public distinguish truth from falsehood and fact from fiction.
