Li Xiangying is a county-level representative inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Yi (Nisu) embroidery in south Yunnan’s Honghe prefecture.
She makes traditional Yi wedding dresses from black, white, and blue cloth, using paper patterns and scissors to preserve the traditional charm of Yi needle work.
