China's rescue center saves over 30 Asian elephants 

Deep in the rainforests of south Yunnan’s Xishuangbanna lies China's only rescue and breeding center for Asian elephants. Over the past two decades, it has provided care and treatment to more than 30 injured and sick elephants.

Generations of elephant guardians have devoted themselves to protecting these majestic creatures, helping China's Asian elephant population grow from around 150 in the 1980s to nearly 400 today.

This unwavering commitment to conservation is now increasingly appreciated by conservationists in the neighboring South and Southeast Asian countries.
