During the just-closed 2026 Erhai Forum for Global Ecological Civilization Construction, Swedish blogger and "new farmer" Patrik shared his insights from farming in Dali, west Yunnan.
He observed that Dali's agricultural model—characterized by small plots of land and diverse crop varieties—is conducive to maintaining biodiversity.
Patrik is advancing his recycle project. Using fungi and bacteria to build soil, he enabled the coexistence and symbiosis of soil, water, and plants. This, in his view, is the beautiful embodiment of "all things follow the law of nature."
