The Guardian Beasts AI Town has made a stunning debut at the 2026 South and Southeast Asian Media Network (SSAMN) Annual Meeting, which was held in central Yunnan’s Kunming city on July 14.
Every street and alley of the town exuded a unique charm, with every corner bearing the warmth and hospitality of Yunnan people. The meeting attendees from South and Southeast Asian countries paused to dip into the vibrant local life and cultural allure of the province.
This series of guardian-beast illustrations was jointly rolled out by Mekong News Network under Yunnan International Communication Center for South and Southeast Asia and Tianjin Fine Arts Publishing House. The town never closes, and its stories are far from over.
