Khalil Hashmi: China carves out unique path to green development

Khalil Hashmi, Pakistani Ambassador to China, said that China has forged a unique path for green and sustainable development at both the strategic and practical levels. Khalil told this to MNN reporters during the 2026 Erhai Forum for Global Ecological Civilization Construction. The event was held in west Yunnan’s Dali Bai autonomous prefecture on May 30. The ambassador also praised the Chinese green-development philosophy that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets."
