Frenchman Bastien willing to tell China's story in WWII

“When it comes to World War II, people mostly think of the European theater. So I want to tell the story of China's war of resistance against Japan to more people," said Bastien Ratat, director of the Echoes of the World based in Fance. Bastien said this in Yunnan province on August 17, when he and other members of the French public welfare organization donated copies of historical materials to the Kunming Memorial for Victory in the Chinese War of Resistance against Japanese Invasion. The donation includes six documents totaling 16 pages, reflecting Yunnan's role as a transportation hub between China and Vietnam at the time, as well as Kunming's importance as a key air base for the Allied forces during World War II.
