“The China-South Asia Expo serves as an important platform for two-way connectivity,” said Mao Keji, Deputy Research Fellow and head of the Strategic Research Division at the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission.
Mao said this during the on-going 10th China-South Asia Exposition (CSAE) and the 30th China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair, adding South Asia has a population of nearly 2 billion and abundant resources.
He noted that the CSAE is not only helping South Asian products enter the Chinese market but also enabling South Asian businesses to access China’s latest industrial achievements. The two side will achieve mutual benefits.
