The launch ceremony for the 2026 "Culturally-Advanced China" thematic interview and reporting campaign was held on July 22 in central Yunnan’s Kunming city, releasing the typical cases on promoting cultural-ethical progress in Yunnan province.
Following the ceremony, the reporting teams set out on field research and interview tours to Kunming, Dehong, Honghe, Xishuangbanna, and other Yunnan locations.
An ethnic performance is staged at the launch ceremony.
With the title of “Invigorate Yunnan, Benefit Border Areas”, the reporting campaign will focus on cultural-ethical progress in Yunnan’s border areas near Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar.
A theme song titled "Hand in Hand for a Long Song" was debuted at the event.
