Cambodia, Thailand may jointly repair Ta Krabei Temple

The Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts has issued a protest January 22, blaming the actions undertaken by Thailand at Ta Krabei Temple. Since the ancient temple lies in the border area between Cambodia and Thailand, protesting only is not enough, and it’s more sensible for the two sides to join hands in future repair and protection. If the sovereignty issue is too tricky, why not leave it where it is.

The Ta Krabei Temple has been severely destructed during the recent Cambodian-Thai border conflict, and both sides should learn something from the tragic experience and resolve difference through consultation. Cambodian and Thais have been neighbors and brothers that coexisted for generations, so the two sides can find a solution to the Ta Krabei Temple problem.
