In early winter, the Zhongji Lake park in northwest Yunnan’s Lijiang city is presenting its best sights to visitors, with the lakeside metasequoia trees turning crimson and gold.

The park, one of the three major parks in the green and beautiful city initiative of Lijiang, is located at the northwest end of Lijiang old town and covers an area of 75 hectares.
It receives an average of 1.5 million visitors annually, fostering new tourist consumption in the surrounding areas.
