A Lijiang area for growing medicinal herbs

The Lijiang branch of the People's Bank of China has injected financial vitality into growing the under-forest plants of economic value, such as grains, vegetables, and fungi.

In September 2025, the branch's medium- and long-term forestry loan in the city reached 884 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 57.88%.

Since the beginning of 2025, the branch has its loan services cover all of the 59 under-forest economic parks and 31 enterprises across the city, issuing loans totaling 570 million yuan to 20 parks and 21 enterprises.

The branch also rolled out special financial products such as "Fungi Easy Loan" and "Mango E-Loan." As of the second quarter of 2025, the loan volume for growing edible fungi in Yongsheng county reached 246 million yuan.
