Zheng He’s legacy: We trade with respect, not revenge

Some 600 years ago, renowned Chinese navigator Zheng He had seven voyages to the Indian Ocean, forging trade relations between China and the Asian and African nations. The trading ties featured mutual respect.
Now the US wants to impose "reciprocal tariffs" on its trade partners worldwide. Given the on-going US trade tariffs and other protectionist measures, we need to gain more inspiration from Zheng He’s legacy of trading with respect, not revenge.
