Indian friend sees relevance between Yunnan, “clouds”

When an Indian friend was asked to describe Yunnan with a Chinese character, he blurted out the word “clouds” and elaborated on the relevance between Yunnan and the clouds.

Md Israil, an Indian student at Wuhan University, answered the question on April 20 at the 2025 China (Anyang) International Conference of Chinese Characters that opened in Anyang, Henan province.
