Major newspapers in Bangladesh set ablaze after death of youth leader

Protests in Bangladesh have escalated following the death of Sharif Osman Hadi, a Bangladeshi Generation Z youth leader who was assassinated in Dhaka last week and later passed away in a hospital.

During the unrest that lasted from December 18 to 19, leading Bangladeshi newspapers including Prothom Alo and The Daily Star were vandalized and set on fire. Check the video footage of the scene.
