The Bai folk song in west Yunnan’s Dali Bai autonomous prefecture is an age-old local melody. Its lyrics adopt the unique poetic meter of the "Shan Hua" style, celebrating labor, love, and hometown.
The Bai folks spontaneously sing the antiphonal song in the fields. The song is a poetry for Bai people to show their emotions.
