As the origin of Nanzhao Kingdom (649–902 AD) and a commercial hub on the world-renowned Ancient Tea-Horse Road, Weishan county in Dali is particularly abundant in history and culture. Today, ethnic festivals, traditional arts and scrumptious local food have turned this place into a popular tourist destination.
