Passenger flow grows by 11.5% at Lijiang airport in holiday

During the just-concluded National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday (October 1-8), the Lijiang Sanyi International Airport handled 234,000 passengers, representing a year-on-year increase of 11.5%.

Passengers have check-ins at Lijiang Sanyi International Airport.

To meet the surging need in domestic tours, the airport collaborated with multiple airlines to add planes to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Nanjing, and Xishuangbanna. It also opened a new air route to Yangzhou, east China’s Jiangsu province.

Regarding international tours, the airport continued to operate flights to four Southeast Asian destinations, including Bangkok and Hanoi. It optimized the service to international travelers to and from Lijiang.
