After graduating from Shanghai Tongji University with a degree in medicine, Chinese girl Xia Chenchen settled down in Nepal and kicked off her career .

Having lived for 11 years in local communities, Xia witnessed the difficulties faced by expatriates in accessing medical care.

This inspired her to found a friendship hospital that provides treatment for Chinese expats, local Nepali people, and other international patients.
