Zambian Party chief: Chinese understand us better, we passed through the same path

“We are every happy that Chinese came at the right time. They recognized our problems, (including) the cultural challenges and economic challenges, and hence established the Tanzania-Zambia Railway,” said Batuke Imenda, secretary general of the Zambian United Party for National Development.

Batuke, who was on his way to Beijing to attend the Ministerial Meeting of the Global Civilizations Dialogue from July 10 to 11, said this at an exclusive interview with YICC's Mekong News Network, adding Chinese understand Zambians better because they went through the same path.
