See Xi · On the Spot: Cambodians usher in President Xi, waving national flags

When Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Phnom Penh, Cambodia this morning for a state visit, Cambodians welcomed President Xi in high spirits, waving national flags of the two countries.

“I’m happy to be here to welcome President Xi’s arrival. Long live the Cambodia-China friendship!” said one Cambodian at the welcoming site.

Another Cambodian noted that the two countries have kept strong friendship since ancient times, adding China is Cambodia’s good friend that helped Cambodia make progress in diverse fields.
