BRI meeting room: Laos-China railway is cultural road full of opportunities

Vilavone Phanthavong, deputy head of the Publicity and Training Board of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee, said that Laos-China Railway has continuously benefited the two peoples since its opening three years ago, and now it has become a cultural road full of opportunities.

Vilavone said this at an exclusive interview with YICC reporters, during the just-concluded 2025 "One River, One Family" Spring Festival Cultural Exchanges in Laos and Thailand, which lasted from January 14 to 18.

She added that the activities jointly organized by the Lao LPRP’s Propaganda and Training Board and the Publicity Department of CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee inspired the Lao zest and expectation for more Laos-China cultural exchanges in the future.
