Traditional Lahu weaving techniques in Pu’er

The spinning and weaving techniques of the Lahu ethnic group have been passed down for over 600 years in southwest Yunnan’s Pu’er city.
The handwoven and dyed clothes retain ancient characteristics and the unique features of the ethnic group.
With black as the base color, the garments are adorned with colorful threads and patterned fabrics, embellished with silver ornaments.
The clothes carry the history and cultural essence of Lahu ethnic group.
