全球文明对话部长级会议将于7月10日至11日在北京举行。
The Ministerial Meeting of the Global Civilizations Dialogue will convene in Beijing from July 10 to 11.
会议主题为“维护人类文明多样性 共促世界和平发展”。目前，共有约140个国家和地区的600余位中外嘉宾报名参会。
The meeting, themed "Safeguarding Diversity of Human Civilizations for World Peace and Development", has attracted over 600 participants from approximately 140 countries and regions worldwide.

2023年3月15日，习近平主席出席中国共产党与世界政党高层对话会并发表题为《携手同行现代化之路》的主旨讲话，首次提出“全球文明倡议”。
On March 15, 2023, President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote address at the CPC in Dialogue with World Political Parties High-level Meeting. Titled “Join Hands on the Path Towards Modernization,” the address first mentioned the Global Civilization Initiative.
该倡议以“四个共同倡导”为主要内容，即“共同倡导尊重世界文明多样性”“共同倡导弘扬全人类共同价值”“共同倡导重视文明传承和创新”“共同倡导加强国际人文交流合作”。
The initiative advocates the respect for the diversity of civilizations, the common values of humanity, the importance of inheritance and innovation of civilizations, and robust international people-to-people exchanges and cooperation.

2024年6月，第78届联合国大会协商一致通过中国提出的设立“文明对话国际日”决议，将6月10日设立为“文明对话国际日”。
In June 2024, the 78th UN General Assembly unanimously adopted a China-proposed resolution to designate June 10 as the "International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations."
设立“文明对话国际日”的决议是以中国提出的全球文明倡议“四个共同倡导”核心要义为主线。
The resolution aligns with the principles of the "four points" advocated by the Global Civilization Initiative.
决议强调，文明对话对于维护世界和平、促进共同发展、增进人类福祉、实现共同进步具有重要作用，应倡导不同文明间的平等对话和相互尊重。
The resolution emphasizes that dialogue among civilizations plays a crucial role in maintaining world peace, promoting common development, enhancing human well-being, and achieving shared progress. It calls for equal dialogue and mutual respect among different civilizations.
应对共同挑战、迈向美好未来，既需要经济科技力量，也需要文化文明力量。
To address common challenges and advance toward a better future, we need economic and technological strength, as well as the power of culture and civilization.

In Denmark, the "dialogue through music" concert bridged cultural gas, embodying the spirit of "harmony in diversity."

From the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS civilizations dialogues to China-Latin America and China-Africa civilizations exchanges, the establishment of the "International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations" goes beyond merely assigning special significance to a particular date. More importantly, it institutionalizes and regularizes exchanges and dialogue among different civilizations. This represents yet another gift from the Global Civilization Initiative to the world.
