6,000 runners attend Tengchong marathon

The 2025 Tengchong Marathon takes place in west Yunnan’s Tengchong county-level city on November 23.
The 2025 Tengchong Marathon was held in west Yunnan’s Tengchong county-level city on November 23, with an attendance of 6,000 runners across China.
Wu Zhenglin clinched the men's full-marathon title in 2 hours, 21 minutes and 9 seconds, followed by Wang Jie and Wang Wei in the second and third places.

In the women's full marathon, Dou Faxian secured the championship in 2 hours, 52 minutes and 5 seconds, while Yang Dingrong and Yang Shuanghua took the second and third places.
This year marks the 11th edition of the Tengchong marathon. The event has emerged as a platform for the city to showcase it’s “sports plus tourism” initiative.
