Meter-gauge railway station gets popular during festival

Tourists have leisure at the historical Mayuan station.

During the just-concluded Dragon Boat Festival holiday, the historical Mayuan station, together with the surrounding meter-gauge railway park in central Yunnan’s Kunming city, emerged as a popular destination.

Visitors strolled along the century-old railway that has been connecting Yunnan with Vietnam, exploring vintage trains and retro architectures. Through old photograph shows, they traced the marks of the bygone days.
