In pics: Yunnan ushers in World Book Day with diverse activities

Ahead of the 30th World Book and Copyright Day that falls on Wednesday, the Chunxiao Bookstore partnered with Kunming Ninth Kindergarten in hosting a reading event on April 21. Over 100 teachers, children and parents attended the event in central Yunnan’s Kunming city.

In northwest Yunnan’s Diqing Tibetan autonomous prefecture, a "floral art plus reading" program was launched at a youth night school on April 20. The program aims to spark young people’s interest in reading, while encouraging intellectual exchanges and knowledge sharing.
