Floral-themed train runs between Beijing, Kunming
The floral-themed train departs from Kunming Railway Station.
The Z162 floral-themed train left central Yunnan’s Kunming railway station on April 7, embarking on its maiden journey to Beijing. The Beijing-Kunming flower train is jointly rolled out by China Railway Kunming Group and Yunnan’s cultural tourism authorities.
The train compartments are adorned with representative Yunnan flowers.
Passing through over 10 stations including Guiyang, Changsha, and Zhengzhou, the train features daily floral displays onboard, and it also showcases Yunnan’s vibrant flower resources, ethnic culture, and tourism offerings.
The train compartments are adorned with seven representative flowers, such as camellias and Galsang flowers. Passengers can taste pastries made from Yunnan’s fresh roses and other flowers, trying their hand at creating bouquets.
