Under the supervision of local customs officers, the first batch of 1,220 imported exhibits entered the exhibition halls in central Yunnan’s Kunming city on July 6, for the upcoming 8th China-South Asia Exposition (CSA Expo) from July 23 to 28.

"These exhibits are mostly wooden handicrafts, furniture, and aromatherapy products from India, and they were transported to Guangzhou by sea and arrived in Kunming by land. Thanks to the customs green passages, the expo exhibits were quickly cleared," said Fu Yu, customs declaration manager of Yunnan Tongyi International Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd.

Yang Linrui, head of the customs section of Kunming Post Office, said the number of international exhibits for the 8th CSA expo has increased. “We’re maintaining close contacts with the expo organizers and logistics companies, making targeted supervision plans and arrangements based on the latest information, so that the exhibits would reach the expo venue in time,” said Yang.
