China-Vietnam border fair opens in Honghe

The 2024 China-Vietnam Border Fair on Economy, Trade and Tourism opened in Hekou county, south Yunnan’s Honghe Hani and Yi autonomous prefecture, on November 26.

With the theme of "shared development in win-win cooperation", the six-day border fair focuses on identifying possible cooperative points in industrial chains and supply chains, while building more platforms for cooperation and exchanges.

The border fair brought together around 1,000 enterprises from 16 countries. On the opening day, the intentional signing values added up to over 200 million US dollars.

A performance is staged at the 2024 China-Vietnam Border Fair.

Covering 5,500 square meters, the Chinese exhibition area features eight pavilions on industrial chains that involve cultural tourism, ASEAN specialties, cross-border logistics, cross-border e-commerce and others.

Bilateral investment meetings, cross-border tourism promotions, a cross-border industrial promotion and a Jinping session on medicinal herbs will be staged during the fair.
