For the first time in Olympic history, AI technology was applied to table tennis matches, capturing and presenting intricate details like never before.

The highest rotation speed was recorded during the first doubles match of the men’s team final, with a shot by Swedish player Anton Källberg reaching 146.6 rotations per second. Close behind was Chinese player Fan Zhendong, whose shot reached 146.48 rotations per second.

Fan Zhendong also achieved the fastest ball speed, hitting a shot at 19.3864 meters per second during the second singles match of the men’s team final.

AI data also revealed that the North Korean mixed doubles pair, Ri Jong Sik and Kim Kum Yong, had the most varied serves of the tournament.
