Tea-themed cultural salon held in Cambodia
A Cambodian-Chinese cultural performance is staged at the salon.
The Tea for Harmony Yaji Cultural Salon, a themed promotion for Chinese culture, was held at the Cambodian Royal University of Fine Arts in Phnom Penh on August 7.
Tea carries the harmonious and inclusive culture of the Chinese nation, which is very compatible with Cambodian social culture of peace and inclusiveness,” according to Wang Wenbin, Chinese ambassador to Cambodia.

“I believe that with the joint efforts of friendly people in the two countries, the ironclad friendship between China and Cambodia will surely thrive like a sturdy tea tree with fragrant and nourishing leaves," said Wang, adding China is willing to increase people-to-people exchanges with Cambodia for a closer China-Cambodia community with a shared future in the new era.
The salon featured Cambodian-Chinese cultural performances, a themed photo exhibition and a cultural experiencing area. Wonderful performances and rich displays won bursts of applause and enthusiasm from the Cambodian audience.

The event was hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, and the Embassy of China in Cambodia. It was organized by the Cambodian Royal University of Fine Arts and the Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.
