GMS governors forum takes place in Yunnan

The 2024 GMS Economic Corridor Governors Forum was held as a sideline of the eighth Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Summit that is going on in Kunming, Yunnan province from Nov. 6 to 7.

The 2024 GMS Economic Corridor Governors Forum opens in Yunnan on Nov. 6.

The forum was attended by Yunnan governor Wang Yubo, Guangxi governor Lan Tianli, provincial administrators of the Mekong countries, and representatives of regional international organizations.

With the theme of “building a favorable business environment for regional development through solidarity and cooperation”, the attendees made keynote speeches at the GMS event.
