The 500-mu terraced fields stretching across the village are not only a unique natural landscape but also a symbol of hope for a bountiful harvest. 1 mu is around 666.6 aquare meters.

"This summer started a bit earlier. I have 5 mu of fields. So far, 2 mu has been done, and I expect to finish in another five days," said villager Yang Xubin, continuing his work as he spoke.
