Bangladesh is celebrating a bumper harvest of watermelons these days. At the Sadarghat wharf in the capital Dhaka, countless watermelons are being unloaded from boats by workers and transported to markets for sale.

Over the years, the watermelon planting area in Bangladesh has continued to expand. Consumers can now enjoy as many melons as they want, while more farmers have also found a path to prosperity.
