Jin Kemo, an associate professor at the School of Resources and Environmental Sciences, China Agricultural University, studies soil structure. Driven by her aspiration to "keep Erhai Lake clear and make lakeside farmers prosperous," she volunteered to move from Beijing to Dali in 2022, leading the Science and Technology Yard in Gusheng village. The science yard carries out projects on protection of the Erhai Lake. Over the past five years, Dali has demonstrated that ecological protection and rural revitalization can go hand in hand.
