Ship-repair yards in Bangladesh pollute environment

Nearly 30 ship repair yards have gathered within a 1.5-kilometer stretch along a river in Bangladesh. They caused issues such as illegal operations, environmental pollution, and encroachment on the river channel. Yet for half a century, relocating the yards has remained a challenge.
