The Liyuan (pear-orchard) village in Eryuan county, west Yunnan’s Dali Bai autonomous prefecture, is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces Erhai lake on the other.
It is a quiet and time-honored Bai ethnic village. Home to over a hundred Bai families, the village is a hidden paradise of pear blossoms.
Today, more and more visitors are drawn here for the farm-to-table meals and the guesthouses out of traditional homes.
