The train was hit by an explosion in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province. According to local rescue organizations, among the dead were 20 security personnel.
This is one of the deadliest attacks against civilian targets in Balochistan in recent years. Security forces have sealed off the area and launched a search operation.
No group has claimed responsibility yet, but Baloch separatist militants and the Pakistani Taliban have carried out similar attacks in the region.
