The 2026 International Sister Cities Young Entrepreneurs Dialogue took place in Yunnan province from May 19 to 22.

The four-day event brought together over 500 participants, including more than 30 young entrepreneurs from 16 countries that have forged the sister-city ties with Yunnan province.
The young entrepreneurs discussed on new business opportunities from the China-Laos Railway, biodiversity and green sustainable development, and AI empowerment and youth entrepreneurship.
They explored pathways for modern highland agriculture in Kunming, looked into green energy and biopharmaceuticals in Yuxi, and appreciated the unique charm of intangible cultural heritage in Chuxiong.
The Yunnan International Sister Cities Young Entrepreneurs Initiative was issued in the event, calling on young entrepreneurs to be leaders of youthful responsibility, ambassadors in cross-cultural understanding, and pioneers of innovation-driven development.
