14 Yunnan businesses shine at Hainan int’l expo
A total of 14 businesses from Yunnan province have attended the 6th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE), which is going on in south China’s Hainan province from April 13 to 18. The businesses are engaged in cultural creativity, high-end optics, biomedicine, and green products.

Highlighting a many-splendored provincial life, the 200-square-meter Yunnan exhibition area was set up in Hall 6 of the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, with "green" and "innovation" being hallmarks of the Yunnan pavilion.
Yang Mengqi, head of the Yunnan Rose Town Investment Co., Ltd, said, "The CICPE focuses on consumer goods and leverages the advantages of the Hainan Free Trade Port platform. We hope to introduce Yunnan's high-quality products and lifestyle to more partners and consumers."

Yunnan Yunliaoyu Health Industry Co., Ltd. has been an attraction at the expo for its products made from native plant shells. Wu Shengyu, the company's brand manager, said that these products integrate Yunnan's natural elements with creative design.
Li Jidong, general manager of Yunnan Tianbao Hua Biological Resources Development Co., Ltd., said, "We’ve been developing new products. Last year, we gained new customers through the CICPE, and this year we look forward to establishing long-term partnerships with more enterprises."

This year's CICPE is the first major exhibition in China during the opening year of the 15th Five-Year Plan period. Some other Yunnan enterprises participated in livestreaming events and procurement signings at the expo for more business cooperation.
