Myanmar vlogger visits inheritor of Dai paper-cutting 

Each version of Water-Splashing Festival has its own charm, but this year’s event is different.

Htike Lwin Ko, a YICC vlogger from Myanmar, interviewed Fan Yong during the festival. Fan is a representative inheritor of Dai paper-cutting in south Yunnan’s Xishuangbanna prefecture.

Through a single sheet of thin paper, Htike Lwin Ko came to understand the thousand-year-old legend of the Dai Water-Splashing Festival. He even cut a peacock pattern with his own hands.
