Bus plunges into Padma river in Bangladesh, killing 27

A bus in Bangladesh lost control at a ferry terminal and plunged into the Padma River on March 25, leaving scores of passengers trapped inside the vehicle.

As of press time, the incident has resulted in 27 fatalities and 10 people missing.

Rescue operations are still underway.
