India defense organs aim to build a world-class military by 2047, which will include space and cyber commands.

The country plans to establish a fully integrated military capable of power projection across the vast Indo-Pacific region by 2047, which marks the centenary of its independence, according to a May 13 report by The Hindustan Times.

In March, India released its Defense Vision 2047, which outlines a wide range of measures, including strategic reforms, capability enhancements, and organizational changes.

The Indian goals include establishing drone and data forces, a defense geospatial agency, a space command, a cyber command, and a cognitive warfare operations unit.
